Paul Walker died from “effects of trauma and thermal injuries”

According to the death certificate obtained by TMZ, Paul Walker died from ‘combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.’

What does this mean?

To be frank, Walker did not die from the impact alone. The fire that sparked from the wreckage led to the Fast and Furious star to burn to death as well. Quite the tragic way to go if you ask us.

As for the man behind the wheel of the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, Roger Rodas, the Coroner did not list burns as a cause of death. So we presume his death was caused by the impact alone.

With that said, both death certificates review the men died quickly.

Both Walker and Rodas died in the wreckage on November 30 in Santa Clarita, CA. Officials suspect plastic bumps in the road caused Rodas to lose control.
